From 2019 to 2023, Colleen held the position of lead photographer for Babes Only, a non-profit organization committed to the empowerment of women. My Queer Life Portrait Project 2022 & 2023
Colleen initiated the 'My Queer Life' portrait project, aimed at showcasing individuals identifying as queer within the vibrant city of Chicago. In 2022, she photographed a total of 15 subjects in a single day, facilitated by sponsorship from Impulse Chicago. The following year, Colleen earned a residency at South Facing Windows, enabling her to capture portraits of 10 individuals and culminate the project with a final gallery exhibition, generously sponsored once again by Impulse Chicago.

In 2024, Colleen orchestrated and chaired a photography panel at Dorothy Downstairs in Chicago, IL. The panel featured four esteemed photographers and attracted an audience of 80 individuals, showcasing Colleen's adept organizational skills and her ability to curate engaging and impactful events.
